The Ontario government has implemented changes effective June 1, 2016 that affect auto insurance products offered in our province. As an auto insurance policy holder, you are now required to customize your coverage.
These changes have been made so you can best protect your lifestyle in the event of accident.
Standard Accident Benefits provided after June 1, 2016 will become more basic in nature than coverage options previously provided. If you are injured in a car accident, these limits of coverage may not be enough to protect your standard of living. You may need to purchase additional limits under the accident benefit section of your policy.
