Here are the lifestyle questions to review to help you identify your coverage needs:

  1. Do you make more than $30,000 a year? If so, please advise your broker before your next renewal, as you may wish to increase your Income Replacement Benefit.
  2. Do you have dependents who rely on you for care or financial support (children, elderly, or disabled persons)? If so, you may want to consider extending your Caregiver Benefit and/or adding a Dependent Care Benefit to your coverage. Talk to your broker for more information.
  3. Does your employer provide a group insurance plan? Your group plan administrator will be able to give you details about what kind of coverage you currently have for medical rehabilitation benefits if you do have a group insurance plan. You may want to consider increasing your coverage for things like occupational therapy, private nursing, and psychology, depending on your group plan.
