“In all the years I have been in the insurance industry, I’ve come to believe that extending a helping hand is the best job anyone can do. I feel that I don’t actually sell insurance, but rather, offer my assistance in helping my clients protect their assets and lifestyles. Helping others gives me a great sense of accomplishment. As a broker, I do not work for the Insurance company. I work for my clients…they are always my first priority. With Georgian Bay in the front yard, Blue Mountain in the back yard and miles of biking and hiking trails all around… this is where people come to play, relax and unwind. How lucky are we to call this area home.”
Rob’s wife of seven years, Kendra, has recently retired from the insurance business to take on her most challenging role ever: full-time mom to Zachary and Sydney. According to Rob, that’s really just short for chef, maid, taxi service, grocery-getter, referee, doctor, police officer and CEO of the Bickerstaff household. In other words, she’s getting lots of rest in her retirement! As for hobbies, Rob admit that his is a little weird he has a huge collection of used golf balls. Some of you may have seen them before, he jokes, since I keep them scattered in the trees and the long grass at many of our local golf courses. Now that he has children, he doesn’t get to add to his collection as often as he would like. I’ve noticed recently that others seem to be helping out, and for that I’m thankful.
