For over 32 years, Russell has protected rural client assets (from family farms to corporate integrated production operations) in a business environment that is often subject to catastrophic losses. He can also offer his many years of research and consulting experience to service the many fiduciary and long- tail liability exposures that public entity clients (municipalities, hospitals and community service organizations) face, providing a resource they are unable to acquire internally.

Russell earned a B.A. in Geography and Economics from the University of Western Ontario, and is a Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) and a Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP). “I feel a deep satisfaction,” says Russell, “when clients who have suffered a loss are able to fund that loss though an insurance program that I’ve designed and recommended for them.” Russell moved to Creemore after graduation in 1978. He was drawn to the strong community atmosphere he could find in a small town where he could readily participate on boards such as community halls, clubs and sports organizations. Russell’s wife of 33 years, Jeanette, is a dental hygienist in Creemore. The couple enjoy travel, working around their home, and supporting their children’s dreams. Jordan 26, Taylor 23 and Hillary 21 like to join their parents for skiing, golfing and travel.
