Kim has been in the insurance industry for 30 years. He offers clients extensive experience in commercial insurance for condominium corporations, non-profit directors and officers liability, trucking, construction, and the resort and hospitality industry. He considers the management and staff at Noble Insurance his extended family.
Throughout the years I have had the pleasure of providing insurance for many varied clients, and many of those have become friends, says Kim. Noble Insurance represents most of the largest insurers in Canada. This allows us to provide very specialized products to our clients. Kim graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Political Science. He also studied French Canadian Language and Culture at the University of Quebec. After graduation, Kim worked to obtain the various designations that make him the insurance professional he is today: Registered Insurance Broker, 1981; Chartered Insurance Professional, 1992; Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker, 1993. Kim grew up in Collingwood and attended Collingwood Collegiate Institute before leaving for university. The opportunity to come back to my home town and raise my family was a life goal. Collingwood provides for the very best in all-round living and working. He is very involved with Rotary through the Rotary Club of Collingwood as well as throughout Rotary District 7010. He also delivers Meals on Wheels for the Canadian Red Cross. He spends his leisure time traveling, skiing, hiking, biking, kayaking and playing golf. Julie, his wife of 30 years, is the manager of a large dental practice in Collingwood. They have two children, Claire 23, and Madeleine 17. The family enjoys traveling together.
