Rob Bickerstaff
Commercial Insurance Specialist

Rob has been in the insurance industry for over 10 years, and has worked for a number of companies in Mississauga and Kitchener. He joined Noble Insurance in 1999 and became a Registered Insurance Broker. He is currently working towards his Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) designation.

Rob specializes in all types of rental and investment properties, and he has programs and packages in place for each. Since he understands the unique characteristics associated with these types of properties, he can ensure that they have the correct coverage. His clients can feel confident that their interests are being protected. “I believe that extending a helping hand is the best job anyone can do,” says Rob. “I feel that I don’t actually sell insurance, but rather offer my assistance in helping my clients protect their assets and lifestyles. As a broker, I do not work for the ‘company’. I work for my client…my first priority. Helping others gives me a great sense of accomplishment.” Rob considers himself incredibly fortunate to call this area home. “Georgian Bay in the front yard, Blue Mountain in the back yard and miles of biking and hiking trails all around -- this is where people come to play, relax and unwind.” He admits his hobby is a little “weird”, but he has a huge collection of used golf balls. “Some of you may have seen them before,” he jokes, “since I keep them scattered in the trees and the long grass at many of our local golf courses. Now that I have children, I don’t get to add to my collection as often as I would like. I’ve noticed recently that others seem to be helping out, and for that I’m thankful.” Rob’s wife of seven years, Kendra, has recently “retired” from the insurance business to take on her most challenging role ever – full-time mom to Zachary and Sydney. “which,” says Rob, “is really just short for – chef, maid, taxi service, grocery getter, referee, doctor, police officer and CEO of the Bickerstaff household. I’m sure she’s getting lots of rest in her “retirement!”
